In this one also with a test spend.
The Admin comes highly recommended. People that I trust are in direct contact with the program Admin. Not in an program operations capacity, but personal interaction.

Update from CIM Admin - Aug. 20th 2006
Quote:
Dear members:

We are now in the second month of having opened CIM to outside investors and as the club’s membership grows steadily, with more deposits coming in constantly, it is becoming apparent that we need to do something about increasing the security of our funds from hackers. When the club was limited to a few members there was not much liquid cash in our ecurrency account to worry about. But now there is a constant flow of cash entering our accounts and very little withdrawals so that it is becoming necessary to move funds in and out of various ecurrency exchangers and bank accounts to maintain safety and security from hackers.

As you will note from many reports in forums, e-gold is constantly under attack from hackers and we see many of their customers’ accounts being successfully emptied of funds. While this is a risk we have to face in this industry, I am trying to minimize this by keeping our egold balance as small as possible. In so doing I have to move funds out of egold and into safer places and back again into e-gold when there is a need to do so. This moving of funds in and out of banks and ecurrency exchangers entails having to pay fees each time and these fees range from 1% to as high as 4% per transaction. As you can well guess these charges eat into the club’s profits.

There are very few sales or redemptions of MPUs so there is hardly any income derived from the 7% redemption fee. It is gratifying to see that members have enough confidence in the club not to want to sell MPUs but at the same time the anticipated revenue from this source is not happening.

It is therefore decided that to recover some of the currency exchange fees and maintain the club’s profitability we will now be collecting an entry fee of 3% for all new investments or new purchases of MPUs. This will apply to all new members as well as new purchases from existing members. The money generated from this new fee goes directly into the club’s coffers and not to me or anybody else.

I’m sure all of you will agree that we cannot afford to compromise the club’s safety and profitability and this new policy is for the good of the club and its long term existence.

Admin

May sure you read an email update from CIM. They are removing private data on members and some action is required via an email update recently sent to all members. Details of the email is below.

Quote:
Dear members,

As you were notified yesterday, I will now be removing all personal information about members, i.e., names, addresses, phones, and leave only your email address and egold account number.

Before doing the deletion process I need you to please send me an email confirming your egold account number so I can do a final match of emails against account numbers. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY TO THIS EMAIL BECAUSE ONCE I DELETE YOUR NAMES I HAVE NO WAY OF CROSS CHECKING YOUR EGOLD NUMBER TO YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!!

As one final method of cross referencing please send me a unique username that I can use to add to your identification. The username should contain 8 characters and may include numbers. All characters must be in lower case.

If you do not reply to this email and problems should develope in the future, please remember you have only yourself to blame if your account number and email address are mismatched. The username option is very important and I suggest you all submit one.

I also wish to take this opportunity of informing you that we are in the process of looking into the possibilities of setting up our own dedicated web site with our own domain name in an offshore setting. I will keep the membership informed of progress as this unfolds.

I would like to thank all members for being very cooperative in all our endeavors to improve our club and I look forward to your replies with suggestions or recommendations.

A small return for the month of August. Not bad considering, I was earning from the middle of the month.

The latest MPU pricing is posted in the program information thread.

I´m also investing with CIM because a friend of mine recommended me and he knows the admin of this program.

I´m happy with this decision.

The Admin of the club comes with extremely high recommendations, and has an excellent background in Financial matters. I am directly invested in most of the programs that they list, but they have a couple that I prefer not to join directly. So this helps me diversify, without joining the programs I want to avoid.

This thread will be moved to a private folder at request of the program admin.
Our forum members, please post here, so that I can allow access when it is moved.

After the move, we will require proof of investment for access.

Seems CIM has closed it's doors to new members for the time being. Wont post the update Levaz until you have moved it to its new pvt location. I'm sure you have the email anyway.

Yes, d1ck0, we will move on Oct 14th.

Just want to give our members enough time to register here before it is moved.

New members are still not being accepted.
Last month was extremely slow with the hard news from NSFG adding to the woes of CIM. None the less, they posted a 2%+ return for the month.

The mighty CIM is shutting down its operations. All assets will be liquidated and investors will be paid out based on the current value of the MPU's.

The latest update is available in the CIM folder.

We will be moving this to the Closed folder when the payments start.
