I just checked again and the forum is back up. As far as I can tell everything seems to be intact.
Let's hope it doesn't happen again. |
Ya. In this arena, inaccessibility is usually equated with the DEATH of the program. My heart can't take too many more! |
All data is maintained off-line. The forum is meant for easy access for the members - to the latest status and to each other.
Admin did send an e-mail, after the fact, which in most cases would be a flag, but here, knowing the background of the admin, we can let it pass.
However, if and when this becomes a habit, we have to do some soul searching.

I have at least 4 requests pending - I will ask now that the forum is back online.

Here are the revised invitation guidelines:
Quote: |
We are changing the new member procedure effective immediately.
If anyone contacts you requesting referral for membership to GFX Club, simply give them our TOS/NDA autoresponder and have them send a blank email to get copy of the TOS/NDA. Full instructions are on the TOS/NDA.
There is no need for a referral ID or anything else. Just do NOT make our TOS/NDA autoresponder address public or post in any forum. It may only be provided upon request person to person.
Thank you for your assistance thus far and I hope you find this procedure a bit easier to handle.
Thanks! |
Those that have requested access, please check your inbox for the NDA/TOS auto-responder e-mail address.

Honestly, I have been compounding here. I am not aware of any payment problems to date. The hold on capital for 6 months still holds though!

I asked for an invitation to the Admin, and still waiting. Do you know if the fundings are monthly (for example before 24th of the previous month) or something like that? |

Hi salterus,
Yes, they do have a cut off date for investment, but I really cannot remember the cut off date.
I will follow up about the lack of response. Please send me a copy of your e-mail (unless it was the blank e-mail).

I sent the message to GFX the 25th of this month, so little time yet. I posted here only because I wanted to join this month |

Dear All
Cutoff date for deposits: on January it was on 15th.
I assume it is on 15th of each month.

I am compounding in this program too and I hope that my intuition is true about them, it seems a reliable program and one of the few ones that I have in my portfolio.
Regards. |

Here it is, March 10, and my account has still not been updated with February earnings. Is this normal? |

Same here, the last update tot he accounts was on Feb 24th, and the P/L showed a small profit. I let it be without mention in the GFx forum.
I did remember reading that he planned to shift the updates to the middle of the month.

Just to bring everyone up to speed, there was a draw down for Feb, which is why there was no update to the accounts.
Hopefully, they have recovered this month.

That is going to make it very hard to make a comeback.
Maybe it is time to re-evaluate and make some hard decisions.

Crikey!! I'm not in this one thankfully, but it seems these hedging type programs are taking a battering recently. Or at least there's something GFX seriously overlooked with their trades!
Anyway, I hope it's not too rough in the future for those still invested. |
